Eligibility & Recruiting provides information on how student-athletes can comply with NCAA bylaws in order to compete in intercollegiate athletics. It includes information on what high-school students need to do to be eligible to compete their first year in college, as well as guidelines that coaches and prospects must follow during the recruiting process. For more detailed information see the "Eligibility Section" and "Recruiting Section" at the bottom of this page.
Compliance provides information on what member institutions can do to ensure that their athletics programs stay in compliance with NCAA bylaws. It includes resources on training and certification of compliance staff as well as coaches, as well as links to valuable resources such as the Legislative Services Database for the Internet (LSDBi) and the Compliance Assistant software.

It provides helpful hints, as well as the forms students need to download, to walk through the certification process. Beginning fall 2006, the NCAA Amateurism Certification Clearinghouse will be the processing center for determining the amateurism eligibility of domestic and international freshman and transfer prospective student-athletes for initial athletics participation at NCAA Divisions I and II member institutions.
